Some of the most exclusive homes in San Mateo County are found in the wealthy community of Hillsborough. Great neighborhoods and schools, outstanding libraries and parks, and some of the best shopping and restaurants on the Peninsula can all be found there, in the small community of just about 10,000 residents.
Hillsborough is a centrally located city with a high quality of life. With freeways linking Hillsborough to the south and north bays and the San Francisco International Airport only about a 10 minute drive away, this city makes travel easy. The downtown is a commercial district, but there’s plenty of shopping at the newly refurbished Hillsdale Shopping Mall. Despite its accessibility, this Burlingame neighbor keeps a rural feel with the benefits of city living.
